welcome ... Firefox is really cool, there are tons of people developing add-ons for firefox.
In the other hand, the g chrome is very light, and has a minimalistic gui, independence of process, and cool developer tools. some things i miss are my installed add-ons (like video-helper) and other stuff like show the selected source...
What? Metapixel? It is just a Linux command line driven photomosaic app... which works well for my needs. Photomosaic apps exist on on platforms if you wanted to give it a try. BTW, if you look in my collection, I have a folder of DA icons (over 77K so far)... they make a great image database for making photomosaics.
They said Chrome was faster and with better memory management... I didn't see much problem with it on Firefox to make it worth switching. The dev tools however... I may need to check into.
In old computers you can note te difference between those browsers (time to load or change from one tab to another). I tryed another photomosaic app online... Thanks for the info.
I hope you'll appreciate my preference and credit
It will probably only be used today (7/8/09).
